Why should InterCultural Elements setup my other ChannelAdvisor account and why should I not do it myself?
Many of our current clients tried in vain to "do it themselves". Just copying and translating titles and descriptions is not sufficient. You must adjust posting templates, convert prices/currencies, adjust shipping information, find matching eBay categories in foreign languages adjust or translate your attributes, ad templates, customised checkout page messages, and the list goes on. Our professional translators generally take a fraction of the time (and often the cost) of "someone I know who speaks the language".

Can you explain a little more about how InterCultural Elements works?
This is how we work in a nutshell.

1. You grant us access to your CA account
2. You tell us which SKUs you want to list in the new posting locale, e.g. by flagging or labelling your items in your main posting account.
3. We provide you with a quote

After agreement

1. You contact support and ask to create a new posting account. We will supply a PDF with step-by-step instructions how to do this.
2. We contact you with a set of questions that we need in order to set up your account optimized to your preferences.
3. We set up and translate your account and tell you when your items are ready to list.
4. We also support you during the initial listings e.g. we help you solve posting errors.

Why does ICE ask for access to my ChannelAdvisor account?
Every account varies greatly (e.g. in number and length of SKUs, ad templates and item specifics). Therefore, ICE requests access to your account to be able to give an accurate quote based on your specific needs. Contact us for more details.

How do I get new items in all of my posting accounts?
After you created new items in your main account, you just have to let us know which SKUs you want us to translate and/or integrate into the foreign posting accounts. We do your work for you.

How do I manage customer service in e.g. French?
There are several options and a combination is possible:

1. You use a free website translation service for French-English and English-French (only suggested for general correspondence, not recommended for solving disputes)
2. Create an FAQ page and/or email templates in French. You can continue to add frequently asked questions until they all appear in your FAQ list.
3. For important correspondence, we supply you quickly with professional translations.

Can I use my translations for other marketplaces?
A Yes, we recommend taking full advantage of using the same item information for multiple marketplaces and web sites. Let us know ahead of time which markets you want to sell into and we optimize this for you.
