With the help of InterCultural Element’s (ICE) native translation services and TEAM managed care, More Clothing has successfully expanded into several new marketplaces and countries and in doing so quadrupled their revenue.

“Finding ICE was like a miracle come true and they deliver as promised! There are a lot of companies out there that will promise the world to you and then disappear, but not ICE. The past 12 months have helped grow our company across the world and ICE handled a lot of the tedious tasks.” Adam Jagot, More Clothing Ltd.

More Clothing Ltd. is a UK-based specialist in ladies’ apparel, ranging from basic garments to glitzy fashion. They have an established, digital presence throughout Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands) as well as overseas in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and UAE, using marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Fruugo, OnBuy, real.de (now Kaufland.de), Cdiscount and Wish.

Initial problems: machine translations and limited time

“Amazon using automated translations was not effective enough.“ Adam Jagot, More Clothing Ltd.

Before working with ICE, More Clothing had to face challenges with machine translations on Amazon which weren’t effective enough in meeting their buyers’ expectations. They considered finding a service-provider that had experience selling on Amazon and offered native translation solutions for non-English speaking countries within Europe. Curious by the introduction video on ICE’s website, Adam Jagot, director of More Clothing, decided to give ICE a call and get an individual consultation to figure out how ICE could help him reach his expansion goals. As a small company of less than 10 employees, their mission to achieve e-commerce growth by expanding to more countries and marketplaces was very time-consuming and they quickly reached limitations on what they could tackle on their own. To meet this ambitious target, they needed a partner that could help with setting up new marketplaces in other countries and optimising listings with native translations.

Solutions: native translation and TEAM managed care

“ICE gave solutions immediately and were open and honest about their services.” Adam Jagot, More Clothing Ltd.

First, ICE’s team of native e-commerce specialists helped More Clothing set up on Amazon Germany, followed shortly thereafter with e-commerce specialized translations for Amazon France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. ICE helped maintain these platforms, dealing with listing errors, creating new items and supplying the required translations. After getting a feeling of what ICE could do for them, More Clothing decided to sign on for ICE’s TEAM managed care to ease the transition into the listing tool Linnworks.

After an encouraging consultation with ICE’s marketplace experts, More Clothing agreed on expanding further to new platforms beyond Amazon and eBay, and implemented their products across marketplaces like OnBuy, Fruugo, real.de (now Kaufland.de), Cdiscount and Wish.

Results: 4X more revenue

“Great, positive, honest bunch that deliver results. A pleasure to work with!”Adam Jagot, More Clothing Ltd.

ICE has successfully helped More Clothing launch onto several established Amazon marketplaces, as well as solid-performing markets like OnBuy and Fruugo. As a result, Adam says that More Clothing has seen an increase of about four times more revenue. With the help of ICE’s TEAM managed care, More Clothing has gained great success in new markets and is planning to further strengthen their online presence by expanding to even more countries and marketplaces in the future.
