As an eCommerce Marketing Specialist with ICE you will:

  • Work flexibly in a diverse and international team
  • Lead social media strategy to increase awareness about ICE
  • Coordinate partnerships to increase client base & awareness of ICE
  • Coordinate/organise visits to trade shows & events, including applying for event funding from German organisations
  • Write industry-related articles for ICE’s newsletter, site & partners
  • Consistently stay up-to-date with the e-commerce industry & write articles to share new, actionable information with our clients & prospects
  • Maintain & improve ICE’s WordPress website
  • Communicate with ICE clients & staff to create testimonials & case studies
  • Occasionally design marketing collateral
  • Potential attendance at national & international trade shows & conferences

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in social media & WordPress
  • Have experience at working with blogs or websites
  • Have a background in Marketing, Design or similar
  • Be able to work with Excel
  • Be detail-oriented
  • Be a keen writer: creative in the use of language yet able to adapt their style to increase the marketability of our products
  • Apply a high degree of attention to detail & accuracy
  • Speak, read & write fluent German (minimum level C1/ C2) & English (minimum level C1)
  • Be prepared to receive training or develop their project management skills
  • Be interested in the Internet & e-commerce

The following would further help your application:

  • A college or university degree or to currently be in the process of obtaining one
  • An interest in graphic design and/or some experience with image processing
  • e-commerce, computing or marketing experience
  • Interest in getting into many facets of marketing
